Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix Review

When it was first announced that SquareEnix would collaborate with Disney to develop an action RPG, that takes aspects of Square’s hit Final Fantasy series and combines it with the Disney universe, many people thought it was a terrible idea which would never have taken off. Well apparently it did.

The game that started it all was Kingdom Hearts; it arrived on the PlayStation 2 all the way back in 2002. Since then it has gone on to become one of the biggest gaming franchises on the market today, spawning a number of sequels that continue the quest of Sora, Donald and Goofy as they fight evil throughout a number of worlds.

The original game can look a bit dated if you play it today, but not anymore thanks to Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix. Not only has the HD remix made the visuals so much smoother, but SquareEnix have also added more features which include remakes of Kingdom Hearts 358/s Days and Chain of Memories. That is 3 games for the price of 1, all in stunning HD.  A fan of the series would be a fool not to buy it.

Apart from the HD visuals, the games are still the same as the originals with the exception of a few extra cut scenes and collectables. However the PlayStation 3 has added trophy support, so those trophy hunters out there have a goal to accomplish.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix is a great way for the fans to replay some of their favourites in the Kingdom Hearts series. Even though the official sequel to the franchise (Kingdom Hearts 3) is still in development, the HD remix should hold over the fans for a while.

If you are a fan of the series and have yet to purchase it, all I can say is what are you waiting for?

Chris Stuckmann is the perfect channel to check out if you love keeping up to date with the latest film releases. Occasionally there is a video game review on his channel but the majority are film reviews. Recently Chris has reviewed video games such as Alien: Colonial Marines, Dead Space 3 and Metal Gear Rising; there is also soon to be a review for the latest Tomb Raider game posted on his channel as well.

With Chris's movie reviews they are kept well up to date with almost every film reviewed right after the film has premiered in the US. His latest film review is Oz the Great and Powerful that was uploaded on the day of the films released.

His channel is very active with on average a new video uploaded every few days to his channel. If you're not looking for film reviews he is still worth checking out as other sorts of videos are occasionally uploaded that move away from reviews. For example of his recently uploads he has done Q&A's, his thoughts on movie news (such as JJ Abrams directing the new Star Wars film), looking at a selection of top films in a certain genre, analysing trailers and longer videos that go more in depth into topics such as what A Good Day to Die Hard did wrong.

When it comes to his reviews no stone is left unturned. Every single thing is analysed from the performance of the characters, the writing of the story and the realism of CGI used in certain films. Bad points are brought out in his videos and nothing seems to get past him. Every negative thing that weighs the film down is picked up on. A good recent review he has done is of Movie 43 where the whole video is a constant rant on how bad the film is. But everything he says I find myself agreeing with and to be highly accurate.

All of his videos are in manageable size with his reviews on average lasting just under the 5 minute mark. This is the perfect length if you want a short quick review of a newly released film but still containing every detail you would want out of a film review. These short snapped reviews don't give away too much of the film to be classed as a spoiler either.

So I would highly recommend  you checked Chris Stuckmann out and subscribe to his channel to keep up to date on the latest film releases.
